Why did you choose your profession?
Because I’m able to deliver tangible value aligned with organizational strategy. And considering the value is delivered through products or projects the work is never the same and it’s always interesting.
Which recent projects are you proud of?
Volunteering as the chair of my local Fire Safe Council I established an outreach program that educated my community on wildfire risk & mitigation, and current events that impacted community safety. It’s been extremely rewarding to be able to speak to local residents and help them reduce the risk from wilfire to their property and their own safety.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute to your success, and why?
Adaptability and being solution-focused. Workling in Professional Services and consulting organizations exposes you to many industries, use cases and problems. Being able to quickly understand a new environment and finding a way to solve problems is critical in those roles.
Who inspires you and why?
From a business perspective, Reed Hastings. As the founder of Netflix he led the transformation of the business from a DVD subscriptipon service into online streaming, embracing change and becoming a leader shaping the direction of the entertainment industry.
